LME Clear appoints Claire Chapman as Non-Exec Director

LME Clear has announced the appointment of Claire Chapman as Independent Non-Executive Director of the Board.

Claire Chapman is currently General Counsel, Company Secretary and Chief People Officer of Hargreaves Lansdown plc. Prior to this role, she held a number of General Counsel positions over a 20-year period, including at Capita plc, Daily Mail & General Trust plc, Inchcape plc and Thomson Reuters plc.

Commenting on the appointment, David Warren, LME Clear Chairman, said:

Claire Chapman trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, qualifying into the intellectual property practice in 1993. She has a Masters in International Law and is a qualified solicitor (England and Wales) as well as attorney (New York).
